Castlelands-Hourihane's Veterinary Clinic is a seven vet, multi-disciplinary practice based in the rural town of Skibbereen, in the centre of West Cork. The practice is comprised of a small animal clinic and large animal hospital, both of which are accredited and purpose built. Here at the clinic, we use a wide range of diagnostic techniques, including X-ray examination, ultrasound scanning, and in-house haematology testing, with access to external laboratory testing.
The small animal clinic is equipped to accommodate a wide variety of small animals from dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes, to the more exotic animals, including rabbits and ferrets. The large animal hospital is also well equipped, and all species of large animals can be catered for by the vets at Castlelands-Hourihane's Veterinary Clinic, including, but not limited to, horses, cattle, pigs and sheep.
The clinic works closely with many local animal welfare organisations, and endeavors to provide a positive animal welfare environment for all patients.
